Jaime
I am the Head Teacher at Walnut Creek Tinycare. I am an East Bay native as I was born and raised in Pleasanton, CA. I graduated from California Sate University, Chico in 2018 where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Child Development. I have sought opportunities in the early learning field for over ten years with children of all ages. Most recently, I served as Co-Director and Head Toddler Teacher at an infant/toddler center in Oakland. I enjoy getting to know children and their interests to help plan the curriculum and activities. I am passionate about providing opportunities for children to explore, discover, create and imagine. Children are constantly absorbing the world around them, and I love using every opportunity to make each experience stimulating and educational. In my spare time, I enjoy time spent with family and friends. I also love any outdoor activities whether its hiking, skiing, or any spontaneous adventure! You can always find me at any music festival!
Jaycie
I am the Head Teacher in Training at Walnut Creek Tinycare! Originally from Minnesota, I spent the past seven years in Oregon before moving to the Bay Area in 2021. I am a graduate of the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. Prior to joining the team at Tinycare, I worked as an assistant teacher in the toddler program at a Montessori school in Portland. In addition, I have worked with children of all ages as a nanny and camp counselor. My experience in the Montessori classroom with the focus on independence and child led curriculum is what brought me to early childhood education. On the weekends, I can be found spending time with friends, family, and my two kitties :) I love to go outside as much as possible, explore all around the Bay Area, and cooking & baking!
