Extremely communicative. Communication has been top notch, which is greatly appreciated, especially when compared to other daycares. The organization really cares and listens to our concerns as parents, and we’ve never felt judged or afraid to speak up or question things when it came to our daughter’s care.

The teachers are so caring, kind and engaging and the communication between staff and parents was great. I always felt we could reach out to the Tinycare team and expect quick answers and feedback. We also really appreciated how they handled the entire COVID-19 situation.

Amy

I am the Head Teacher at SOMA Toddler 2. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development with an emphasis in child development and minored Education. I have 10+ years of volunteering and working in a variety of childcare and academic settings, including being a summer camp art instructor to a student caregiver at UC Davis’ Early Childhood Lab School. My previous role as a speech therapy assistant gave me a great perspective on the challenges of working with children with various developmental delays yet also solidified my passion to continue to pursue my aspiration to teach. Besides teaching, I love the outdoors, whether that be hiking or taking a stroll on the beach. I also love all things related to food from cooking, baking, or eating.

Aria

Hello! My name is Aria. I have been teaching for about 6 years. I have my bachelors degree in sociology from the university of San Francisco. My favorite thing about teaching is how much the kids change and grow and being able to watch and facilitate this growth. My philosophy for teaching is very much allowing the kids to learn through play and providing some structured activities so they are stimulated throughout the day. My favorite things to do is read, watch new tv shows, and explore this beautiful city that we live in.

Meet our Head of Education

Adam

I am Tinycare’s Head of Education, and focus on supporting our teaching teams and family communities across our network. Prior to joining Tinycare in 2020, I was previously an elementary school principal and instructional superintendent, where I worked on innovative school models. My wife and I have a 9 month old at home, so I my focus on early childhood and reaching developmental milestones extends beyond my professional role!
