Joanna

I am the Head Teacher at SoMa Montessori Preschool. I am a Certified Montessori ECE Teacher and I earned my Primary Diploma from The Canadian Montessori Teachers Education Institute in 2008. I have over 16 years of experience working as a Lead Montessori guide in International Montessori Schools in Warsaw - Poland, Shanghai -China and Hong Kong. I'm passionate about a holistic approach to education and child development. Working with children I focus on meeting their individual needs, promote talents, interests and uniqueness, help them to develop self confidence and grow eagerness to learn and explore. For many years I have been working in inclusive,  international and multicultural settings and I believe that diversity plays a great role in learning. I have been assisting children with learning difficulties, sensory processing disorders or the Autism spectrum.  Apart from Montessori Diploma I also hold Bachelor's degree in International Affair and Master's in Culture and Ethics. I regularly participate in educational and professional workshops and seminars.

Daisy

Hello! I am Daisy and I am the Head Teacher in Training at SoMa Montessori Preschool. I was born and raised in San Francisco. I speak both Spanish and English fluently. I am super excited to be a part of Tinycare. I grew up always helping my mom care for younger family members after school. I knew I loved working with children, as it doesn’t only allow me to learn about them, but also learn about myself in a way that helps with their needs. I have worked with all ages once I graduated high school, from working at a daycare to being a summer camp counselor. I am looking to go back to school and finish off my ECE credits and transfer to a 4 year university. Looking forward to meeting you!

Meet our Head of Education

Adam

I am Tinycare’s Head of Education, and focus on supporting our teaching teams and family communities across our network. Prior to joining Tinycare in 2020, I was previously an elementary school principal and instructional superintendent, where I worked on innovative school models. My wife and I have a 9 month old at home, so I my focus on early childhood and reaching developmental milestones extends beyond my professional role!
