Meet the Head Teacher

Michelle

“My Name is Michelle and I am the Head Teacher at Lafayette Infant. I have been teaching for over 10 years and it is a true passion of mine. I got My bachelor's in child development at San Diego State University and just dove into the world of young children. They are full of life and live every minute of every day so excited and happy. I love many things about teaching, but most of all I enjoy learning from young children. They teach me to be resilient and to just be happy. When I’m not working I’m chilling while watching Netflix or doing something creative. I love to explore the world around me but most of all, I love to laugh and have lots of fun. I also get messy, it's how you know you’ve had a fun day! So get prepared to take home some pretty messy kids.

Ana

My name is Ana Sosa and I am the Head Teacher in Training at Lafayette Infant. I am from Concord, CA and have worked with children since 2019. I’ve worked with every age group from 0-12 years old! Even though I’ve worked with so many age groups, I’ve come to find out I absolutely love working with infants and toddlers! Some of my hobbies include hiking, gardening, painting or anything creative and learning about new things! I love childcare because I believe we are a big part of a child’s life as a teacher and assistant teacher as well, and because of that I find it very important to be a positive role model for the children I work with. Watching them grow and helping them turn into strong, resilient, kind and loving little humans they can be is my passion! I am open to any teaching style but I’ve worked with Montessori the most.

Meet our Head of Education

Adam

I am Tinycare’s Head of Education, and focus on supporting our teaching teams and family communities across our network. Prior to joining Tinycare in 2020, I was previously an elementary school principal and instructional superintendent, where I worked on innovative school models. My wife and I have a 9 month old at home, so I my focus on early childhood and reaching developmental milestones extends beyond my professional role!

Your family’s health & safety is our highest priority

We strive to provide the safest, highest quality licensed micro daycares and preschools in San Francisco, with maximum 4 children per infant class for minimal exposure risk.

Our COVID-19 policies are based on the most cutting edge research and go above and beyond CDC recommendations:

early detection

  • smart thermometer daily temperature checks for parents, children, and teachers

  • staff testing

PPE

  • masks for staff

  • daily cleaning & sanitation

ventilation

  • HEPA grade air filters

  • HVAC UV lights

  • windows open to increase air flow

minimizing exposure risk

  • ~4 children per class

  • staggered pick up & drop off times

If San Francisco returns to shelter-in-place, we offer at-home daily live video classes and reduced tuition during any temporary site closures.
